The option to sync selected items may not show up until after the first sync. • You can select a group of contacts to which all new contacts created on your iOS device will be added. • Additional options for syncing include syncing your contacts with Yahoo or Gmail/Google Mail. You will need to configure it with the user name and password for your Yahoo or Google account. Unfortunately, I don't have that option anymore. I tried to save a picture but I can't figure that out either. Here is what it says: 'Your contacts are being synched with your iphone over the icloud. Over the air settings can be changed on your iphone.' And the same message is for my calendar. When I try to change the settings on my iphone to turn off the synching over iCloud it gives me another message, 'What would you like to do with the previously synched iCloud contacts on your iphone? Keep on my iphone, delete from my iphone' which makes me very nervous to delete anything Any other ideas?? Thank you in advance!!! Connect your iPhone to your computer, and open iTunes>Info Tab. If contacts and calendar are set to iCloud, you will see ' 'Your contacts are being synched with your iphone over the icloud. Over the air settings can be changed on your iphone.' On the iPhone, go to Settings>iCloud, and you may find that your Contacts and Calendars are set to sync with iCloud (the setting is 'ON'). If you turn one or more of these settings 'OFF', you will be asked whether you want to delete the data on the iphone. You can choose whether you want this, but for me, I kept the data on the iPhone that had previously been synced with iCloud. You'll notice that upon taking this step, you now have the option to sync your Contacts and Calendar to Outlook. Good luck, Al. Thank you so much. I followed your instructions and voila! Everything is synching now. I have wasted hours trying to figure this one out! I think it must have changed on my phone with a recent software update because it had been working and all of the sudden nothing was synching! It would be easier if Apple would just spell it out in I-tunes instead of saying you can change it on the phone. I do sync over the air with Outlook through a wireless conection so I wasn't tuning in to what they were saying. I have the same problem with syncing hanging using an iPhone 5S and Outlook 2013. I spent 3 hours with Apple support yesterday without success - one hour in a store and then 2 hours with a supervisor in telephone support. They said they don't support Outllok 2013, which no one told me before I signed the phone contract. But syncing worked fine for the first few months and then suddenly stopped working. Now it just hangs on 'Syncing calendars'. Apple is running this by the engineers, but I'm not optimistic. I'm hoping I can get my contract shifted so I can get a Windows phone and presumably not have to deal with this problem. A phone without contacts and calendar is not very attractive. There is one huge problem with all of the answers provided; at one time, the requester's IPhone or i-device was syncing with microsoft outlook, and so they already have the necessary software on their computer and probably already have the right settings in their Apple devices.

Criteria for the Best Email App In selecting the best email app for macOS, we used the following criteria to select the winner: • Overall Design — Dealing with email can be annoying, and using a poorly-designed email client can compound the frustration factor. The email client you decide to use should provide you with a well-designed user interface that aids you in your quest for Inbox Zero. • Ease of use — The email client you use should give you the tools you need to get the job done while staying out of the way as much as possible. You want to focus on reading and responding to email, not navigating complex menus or trying to figure out basic functions. • Innovative Features — As the amount of email we receive grows over time, the way we deal with it must evolve. Developers are starting to reconsider how we fundamentally deal with the email we receive, and it is important that we consider innovative features that make it easier (and more enjoyable). • Support for Multiple Account Types — The best third-party email clients are flexible enough to offer support for many different types of accounts, such as Gmail, iCloud, O365, Yahoo, Exchange, IMAP, etc. If an email client doesn’t support your email provider, then it’s just not an option for you — no matter how awesome it looks. • Support for Gmail-Style Shortcuts — If you’ve ever used Gmail keyboard shortcuts, you probably can’t imagine not using them since they can drastically reduce the amount of time you spend in your email client. For example, to archive a message in Gmail, you just have to press the “e” key, compared to using “Shift + Command + A” in Mail.app (you can view a complete list of Gmail keyboard shortcuts by pressing “?” in Gmail). These shortcuts can be a game-changer for how you read and respond to email, so it’s important that the best third-party email client for Mac support these. • Update Schedule — The email client you use should have a track record of being well-supported to minimize the risk of it suddenly disappearing, forcing you to figure out a new tool for your email workflow. • Integration with Other Apps/Services — Email doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Free mac antivirus.
